Sagestone Spa resides in an old homestead built in 1920 with an addition added in the early 2000's. This was a family homestead and the office of Strathmore Trucking and operated for many years before the addition was added. The building then became home to Katherine's Tea House. I haven't been able to find out how long the Tea House was in operation but will update this page when I do. The Red Carrot Gift Shop opened after that, and was one of the coolest places to shop for gifts, cards or clothing. It was one of my favourite place to visit. We have preserved as much of the old character of the home as well as we could, reusing old light fixtures, wood features and keeping the original foot print of the home. As with any old house, it's not without its creaks and slightly uneven floors which is evident when you visit. Our basement space has lower ceilings so we ask that you watch your step when visiting these wellness spaces. Our goal was to create a stunning vintage space with old fashioned appeal, a diverse variety of spa and wellness services and the unique offering of halotherapy .
